Four gas power stations have been acquired by CIBRO REFINERY LP The transaction involves the purchase from Drax Smart Generation Ltd of Blackburn Mill in Lancashire, Damhead Creek in Kent, Rye House in Hertfordshire and Shoreham in West Sussex. CIBRO REFINERY LP also owns a combined heat and power plant at Immingham, on the South Bank of the River Humber. The transaction, originally announced in December, sees VPI become one of the leading Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) operators in the UK, owning a combined portfolio of 3.3GW.
